Charming Cafe Bundle

The Charming Cafe Bundle was one of my first purchases from the Occasions catalogue! As soon as I saw it-it was mine.  I love the way you can create scenes (in a good way – not the temper tantrum kinda scene!), and how using the framelits adds extra ‘wow’ to a project.

Do  yourself a favour, and save yourself 10% at the same time. Purchase the Charming Cafe Bundle, which includes the Charming Cafe stamp set and Cafe Builder Framelits. You  know you’re going to want the matching framelits, and you’re gonna kick yourself if you don’t get the right away!! Trust me on this – get the bundle, save yourself money, and  no bruises 😉

The stamp set is available in both clear mount and wood mount. It includes 7 stamps; 4 image and 3 sentiments. The framelits contain 9 pieces, allowing you to die cut the inner & outer portion of the floral frame, plus die cut away the top portion above the chairs. You’ll see what I  mean on my card sample.

Isn’t this too adorable?! This is the front view of the tri-fold card. The card base is Sahara Sand cardstock, with the front panel covered with Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. I used the Cafe Builder Framelits and Big Shot to die cut the inner shape through both layers. After stamping the image of the floral oval, die cut it with the outer shape die, and layered it on top, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stamped the floral top & bottom again on more Whisper White, and colour in with the Stampin’ Blends markers in Pink Pirouette and Old Olive. Now die cut the flowers with the Cafe Builders Framelits.  Layer the die cut florals on top of the stamped ones, using the Liquid Glue. This bundle makes it so easy to create a beautifully layered panel!

To create this panel, attach a panel of Whisper White cardstock to the base. With the front panel closed, place the die of the chairs inside, and make a small pencil mark to note the top of each chair. Stamp the chair image twice; once on the glued panel, and again on another piece of Whisper White. Colour the 2nd image with Stampin’ Blends markers in Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party and Calypso Coral, and use the die of just the chairs & table to die cut with the Big Shot.

Next, use the larger die cut with the tops of the chairs & table, line them up with the tops of the stamped chairs, and die cut with the Big Shot. This creates the ‘window’ behind the chairs! Now attach your coloured, die cut chairs to the panel.  You can skip adding the die cut images, if you want less ‘bulk’ to your card. Just colour the stamped images on the panel.

Create a colour wash background using your Aqua Painter and pick up ink from the lid of the Pool Party ink pad. Allow the wash to dry, then stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Attach this panel to the card base with the Liquid Glue.

Didn’t I tell you this bundle is just too much!?! I love it!
