Christmas Market Fun

Finally – I’m here to share with you some pictures from the Christmas Market last weekend, where I had a table.

It was lots of fun; I got to meet some lovely people, and made a new friend 🙂  It was fairly busy, which was good; because you really notice the slow times!

Here’s a picture of my table set-up; it was a smaller table than I’m used to (6 ft. vs. 8 ft.) so it looks a bit crowded!

The venue was fully booked, and there wasn’t even room for me to have my free-standing card rack – so up on the table rack they went!  Guess what – my cards were my best seller of the day!  I think having them on the table worked! 🙂

As you can see, I have my hand crafted items on the one side, then the packaged kits, stamp sets, ink pads, embellishments, etc. on the other.  I thought it was very odd that my hand crafted items sold better than the packaged items – but I’ll just take that as a compliment! LOL

Here’s some close up pictures of some of my items;

I followed the tutorial from a fabulous U.K. demonstrator Linda Parker  (she is an absolute genius with boxes & packaging!) for these luminaries – aren’t they gorgeous?  I stamped the Wonderland trees in Versamark onto the Vellum cardstock, and embossed them with Silver Embossing Powder.  The tops & bottoms of the luminaries are made from the beautiful Silver Foil Paper, and each has a battery operated tea light inside.  I just had to take a picture with the lights off – the glow is fabulous! 🙂

These next items were a great seller – the Santa and Snowman Curvy Keepsake Boxes, filled with Lindt truffles!

Too cute, right?!  Everyone who bought them had special plans; to hang them on their Christmas tree, to tuck them into stockings, and to put on their mantle with other holiday decorations.  How great is that!  I got more ideas from them 🙂

Rather than overload you with a ton of pictures all in one post, I’ll be back tomorrow with more pictures, okay?  I hope you’ll be back, too!

Until then – happy stamping!

    How much do you sell your items for?

    • Deborah Smart says:

      Hi Linda! Thanks for your interest in my Christmas items. Pricing of course depends on the item; the snowman & Santa boxes I sold for $3 each, and the luminaries were $10 each. I priced my cards at $3 each, or 2/$5. If you’re interested in anything specific, please feel free to email me
