Enjoy Wine with Half Full Stamp Set

At my Stamp & Sip class last Friday, we certainly did enjoy wine with the Half Full stamp set! Today’s card shows a fun card with some shine!

HALF FULL STAMP SET

These are the fun images in this set! I just love the sentiments, too 🙂  There’s  more to this stamp set than just the great images and sentiments, though. It was a collaboration between a Stampin’ Up! design artist and Linda Bauwin, demonstrator and last year a Million Dollar achiever.

Linda’s husband, Jay, unfortunately passed away before this stamp set was completed. As a tribute to his love and support of Linda, the year of their wedding – 1975 – is included on the wine bottle image. A beautiful memento that we can all appreciate!

WINE WITH FRIENDS ARE THE BEST!

DETAILS

A fun card to put together, and a little golden shine – because good friends are worth it!

Very Vanilla cardstock is combined with Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper for rich wine tones. The Fresh Fig in the DSP is repeated in the colouring of the wine, done using the Fresh Fig ink pad, and a Blender Pen. The gold pattern is added along the bottom of the panel.

After the colouring and stamping is done, a Foil Snowflake in gold is cut in half, and glued behind the panel. It’s then added to the front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and 3 Rhinestones added to the bottom left of the stamped panel.

INSIDE LOOK

The inside panel is stamped with the sentiment and wine glass in Fresh Fig ink. The wine is again coloured with Fresh Fig ink pad and a Blender Pen.
