Party Pop-Up Fun!

Hello again!  Welcome back to my little creative corner of the world 🙂

Today I’d like to share another card made using the Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies – these are a brand new kind of die that you can use to create pop up cards, or you can cut out the pop up sentiments, and attach them onto your card.

This Thinlits set can also be bundled with the Party with Cake stamp set for a 15% savings!  You betcha – I got the bundle!  These 2 sets work perfectly together 🙂

Here’s what they look like:

You can choose either wood mount (#140815 or Clear Mount #140814) for the stamp set.  Either way, it’s a great deal for the 2 thinlits and the 12 piece stamp set!  Plus, if you purchase the wood mount bundle, you instantly qualify for 1 Free Sale-A-Bration item!  Purchase the clear mount bundle, add in and ink pad, and again – Free Sale-A-Bration item!

Here is the front of my card, stamped with the Party with Cake stamps:

I started with  a card base of Tempting Turquoise, then stamped the sentiment in Daffodil Delight ink onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I punched the corners using the Curvy Trio Corner Punch for a decorative touch, and I attached the little stars and confetti streamers that I die cut using scraps of Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral cardstock.  I wanted the word ‘celebrate’ to stand out more, so I stamped it again on a piece of scrap white in Tempting Turquoise ink, used the Banner Triple Punch on the ends, and popped it up with Dimensionals over the stamped sentiment.  The piece of cake was stamped in Blushing Bride ink, then coloured in with Stampin’ Write markers in Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake.

And now for the wow – the inside!

This is so fun! I love the die cut streamers and confetti, and by cutting the pop up in Whisper White, you can see it well with the bright Tempting Turquoise card base showing through.  The only extras I added were some more confetti and streamers, and the stamped sentiment in the bottom corner.  I always say that birthday calories don’t count! 🙂

In a previous post HERE, I showed a card where I used the other Pop Up Thinlit, so you can have a look at that one, too.

Tomorrow night is my Birthday Bash card class, where we’re making cards all dedicated to birthdays, so I’ll have another couple of cards made with this bundle to show you.  It’s such fun, and when you add in the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack, and use it together with the Balloon Celebration stamp set and Balloon Bouquet Punch, (2 more sets you can Bundle!) your only limit is your imagination!

You can order any of the supplies that I  used to make this card, and the other sets suggested directly online at my store – you can simply click any of the images below to get there.  Of course, I’m always happy to place your order for you – just send me an email at debsmart@shaw.ca, and I’ll take care of you!

Thanks for spending some time with me today – I hope you’ve got some good ideas on using this bundle, and more!
