PCC291 Sketch Challenge

Welcome back, stamping friend! I hope you’re ready for another sketch challenge with the Paper Craft Crew Design Team – because we are! 🙂 Let’s see what  you can create with this sketch as your starting point.

PCC291 Sketch Challenge

As always, the sketch is your ‘jumping off’ point. You can change the shape of the focal area, and if you want you can flip the sketch around. Let’s get creative!

I’m so happy that this fun stamp set, Half Full, is carrying over to the new Annual catalogue! It’s terrific year-round, and also has some great sentiments for the holidays.

Stamp the wine glass images from the Half Full stamp set onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock. Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink for stamping. For colouring the wine, use the Rose Red ink pad and a Blender Pen. Pick up the ink by first pressing the lid of the stamp pad while it’s closed; this will transfer some ink onto the inside of the lid.  After colouring in the wine, clean your Blender Pen, the use some Smoky Slate ink with the Blender pen to add some shadows around the glasses.

Next, use the Rose Red ink pad to stamp the sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock. Punch each end with the Banner Triple Punch.

Use the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set, and stamp the label  image in Old Olive ink. Punch it out with the 1″ Circle Punch.  Cut a 1″ strip of Old Olive cardstock, and run it through the Big Shot with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder (this was available during Sale-A-Bration, and will be available to order in the new Annual catalogue in June).

Attach your image panel to a panel of Whisper White cardstock, then attach it onto a panel of Delightful Daisy DSP (unfortunately, it’s already all sold out!) with Dimensionals. Next attach it to a card base of Rose Red cardstock. It’s retiring, so order soon if you still want some!

Attach the sentiment underneath the image panels, using Dimensionals. Add the label image to the upper left corner of the image, and attach a multi-bow of Linen Thread to it, with Mini Glue Dots.

I think that the extra layering for this sketch gives the card an extra punch!
