Snowmen and Gift Card Holders

Hello, Stampin' Friends!

I hope you've been keeping well; I had to take a bit of a break over the weekend, as all this papercrafting is taking it's toll on my hands.  I have a bit of arthritis in my fingers and wrists, that likes to flare up when I've been working especially hard; so, I just slowed things down over the weekend, and gave my hands a bit of rest.

But today – I have more craft fair creations to share with you!!  I feel so much better when I've been crafting 🙂

The Snowmen peppermint patties I worked on over the weekend; aren't they cute?  It's amazing how you can change their 'attitude' by changing the shape of their mouth, or placing their carrot nose a different way!  Snowmen and chocolate – two things that just speak 'winter' to me! lol

On either side of the snowmen are 2 different designs of Gift Card Holders.  The ones on the left have a 'belly band' to hold it closed; the ones on the right are made to look like a present (can you see the 'bow' on the top?), and is held closed with a velcro dot.

Both of these are Christmas styles, but I will be making some 'generic' ones, that can be used for other occassions, such as birthdays.  Gift Cards are very popular gifts, I find; especially for those people you find are 'hard to buy for' – you know, it seems like they have everything already?!  I like to give gift cards for special outings – the things people don't think to give themselves regularly – maybe for the theatre, a concert, restaurant, or a spa day!

I hope you enjoy seeing what I've been working on – I'd love to hear your comments!  Thanks for visiting my web site; I hope you'll come back again soon 🙂

Happy Stamping!

Hi Deb, Your snowmen and gift card holders are so cute! How clever to use the oval punches to make the bows on top of the presents. The toppers on the snowman packages are great, too!

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
