SUDSOL Design Challenge 355

Hi there stampers!  I’m back today with a challenge card for the SUDSOL Design challenge #355.

If you’re wondering what is SUDSOL – well, it stands for Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing On Line.  As the name states, it’s a membership site & online community of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators dedicated to providing creative and professional information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   All demonstrators regardless of location, regardless of the support you are getting elsewhere can join.  If you’re a demonstrator, and are interested in trying out a membership, you can join for a FREE 2 WEEK TRIAL – simply click the blinky on the side of my page, or CLICK HERE to go to the site.

This challenge is about creating a project and using 2 of the new In Colours; Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon, and Mint Macaron.

I used my new favourite stamp set, Sprinkles of Life:

SDC355 sprinkles of life

This is the first time that I’ve made trees using this set!  I started with a card base of Cucumber Crush cardstock, then added a panel from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack.  I think it’s supposed to be confetti & streamers, but I thought it would work for clouds wind – close enough, right? 🙂  I added a small panel of Whisper White cardstock along the bottom, and stamped the flower stems & grass in Cucumber Crush, and the flowers in Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron.

The tree trunks were stamped in Tip Top Taupe onto the same colour cardstock; the same with the tree tops – stamped in Cucumber Crush onto the same colour cardstock.  Both were punched out using the fabulous Tree Builder Punch, then layered onto the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the clouds on Whisper White cardstock with Soft Sky ink, and again used the Tree Builder Punch to punch them out.  They were also attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped in Watermelon Wonder in the centre of one cloud; with the stamp being photopolymer, I was able to create a curve in the stamp, so it would fit inside the cloud.

If you’d like to purchase any of the products I’ve used for this card, simply click on the image(s) below, and you’ll be taken directly to my online store.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card today; thanks for stopping by!  If you have time to leave a comment, I’d love to hear from you 🙂

I hope you’ll come back tomorrow for another Creation Station blog tour; we’re going to be featuring more new stamps & products, plus projects for Father’s Day.

Until next time – happy stamping!
