More great deals for you this week – have a look!
Just in time for spring flowers – the fabulous Cherry On Top Cotton Paper Assortment is on sale! This cotton paper is fabulous for making flowers; you can hand cut, die cut, and punch it; when you ‘scrunch’ it for that natural look, it stays perfectly scrunched, with no tearing or limpness. Try using it with the Fringe Scissors that are on sale as well, for those fabulous fringed looking flowers – daisies, and whatever else you want to imagine!
This little box below is decorated with the cotton paper in Bermuda Bay. I had used a retired flower die and the Scallop Circle Punches to create it; I now have the Floral Frames Collection Framelits, and I know they will make awesome flowers!
This next box I decorated using the Happy Patterns Decorative Masks – they are SO easy to use, and you can create your own effects!
You can see that I created the box from Bermuda Bay cardstock using the Baker’s Box Thinlits Die; before putting the box together, I used the Mask and sponged the ‘happy’ and the dots using Bermuda Bay ink and a Sponge Dauber directly onto the box. Then, when I was creating the tag, I used just the dots from the same mask in Bermuda Bay, to make it coorindate.
This card I made shows you how you can create an interesting background:
It’s so easy to change up colours when using the mask; simply change your Sponge Dauber and ink pad!
So yes, I do love using the masks 🙂 The Fringe Scissors are super fun to use for creating flowers, tassels, and of course creating ‘grass’ – especially for Easter! (which coincidentally, is coming up soon!)
