Yes, it’s another coffee card!
I’m the first to admit – I do love the Coffee Cafe stamp set and Coffee Cup Thinlits! I just can’t resist creating with them! This time I’ve used them to create a card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge.
This fun sketch challenges you to get creative – with the angled design and 4 elements on the side!
This sentiment is perfect for me! I really need my 2 cups of coffee each morning, just to get started 🙂
Stamp set: Coffee Cafe. Inks: Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede. Papers: Soft Sky, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz cardstock; Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. Accessories: Coffee Cups Framelits Dies, Big Shot, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
This card comes together quite quickly! After creating the card base in Soft Sky cardstock, I added a Pear Pizzazz cardstock panel. I cut the Soft Sky panel and the Coffee Break DSP, layered them together with Liquid Glue, then attached them to the card base, again with Liquid Glue. After attaching them together, I cut off the excess with the Paper Snips.
Next, I stamped the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz ink onto Whisper White cardstock. I then cut the sentiment apart, then glued each piece onto Soft Sky cardstock. Paper Snips are used to cut each layer of the sentiment, then they’re attached to the front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The coffee bean image stamp is stamped several times onto Whisper White cardstock with Soft Suede ink. I then die cut them, plus one of the small cups from the Coffee Break DSP, with the Coffee Cups Framelits and the Big Shot. They were all then added to the front panel with Dimensionals.
I like adding the depth to the card with the different die cuts!
This was fun & easy to do – just stamp the large sentiment in Pear Pizzazz, then add the coffee beans in Soft Suede ink.
