Beautiful You in Blue

Happy Tuesday!

I’ve been busy getting ready for 2 exciting post going live tomorrow – the new Paper Craft Crew challenge, and the new Blogging Friends Blog Hop!  You’ll have LOTS of creative inspiration to see and read about, tomorrow 🙂

Today I thought I’d do a quick share of a card I made a while ago, with the Beautiful You stamp set.

When I first got this set, I sat down and made a whole lot of cards all at once, I was having such fun with it – but I didn’t share them all, so here is one of them.

This card was so quick & easy to make, yet I think it looks great!  Probably because I don’t ‘do’ clean & simple cards very often, and they’re usually a struggle for me.  With this stamp set, though, it’s very easy to let this elegant lady take centre stage.

I stamped the image in Basic Black using the Archival ink, then used the Watercolour Pencil in Pacific Point to add colour.  I then used a Blender Pen to spread the colour, and then went back and added some shading, by adding more colour with the pencil.

The sentiment was stamped onto the Whisper White panel in Pacific Point ink, then the panel was layered off-centre onto the Pacific Point cardstock base.  A few sequins, and the card was done!

Sometimes you just need a quick & classy card – and I think that this stamp set helps deliver.

I’m off to do some more stamping – I hope you’re having fun today, too!  And if you want to order any of the products used to make this card, just click on the images below!  Remember that it’s still SALE-A-BRATION time, so you can earn FREE product with each $60 you spend!

Until next time – happy stamping!
