Welcome to another Creation Station Blog Tour!

If this is your first Blog Tour, no need to worry about figuring out how to navigate – all the participating blogs are linked in a circle, so as long as you keep clicking the Next button, you will be taken through all of the blogs.  Due to the summer holidays, not all of our team is participating this time, but not to worry – you will be thrilled with the creations you see today!

If you started at the beginning, you will have come to my blog from the fabulous Jennifer Downey – she is so fun & creative, I love seeing her projects.

Our theme this time is all this Party!!  A lot of the group will be using the stamp set Amazing Birthday, but since I don't have that one, I'm featuring the funny Age Awareness stamp set!  (I can be pretty cheeky when it comes to birthdays, so this set suits me quite well!)

The Age Awareness set is photopolymer, which means that it's easy to line up the stamps for sayings, and making sure you're stamping where you want to – all without having to  use the Stamp-a-ma-jig!

This is the entire stamp set:

That is a lot of stamps!  And for only $19.95, a terrific deal!

Because it has been so hot hear for the last 2 weeks, I only have 2 projects to share with you (I was in severe danger of melting into a  puddle at my crafting table!) – here is my first card:

This is the front view – unopened.

This style of card is called an Easel Card – this is how it opens:

See what I mean about the cheeky factor!  I love it πŸ™‚  I also love this new Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper – it is so bright & fun!  My card base is Rich Razzleberry cardstock, and I stamped the sentiments in Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Tempting Turquoise – all colours that are within the DSP.  I used the Labels Framelits Collection to cut them out, and added some Brights Candy Dots as embellishment.

I had fun making my next card, especially because I got to try out another one of my new Stampin Up! products:

What do you think of the fabulous new Striped Scallop Framelit– I think it adds a lot of WoW to a card!  Using the Striped Scallop Framelit, I cut layers out of Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana cardstocks.  I layered the scallops on a base of Strawberry Slush, and stamped the sentiment in Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana.  I just had to add my new stand-by embellishment – the 2014 In Colour Sequin Assortment, along with a few Basic Rhinestones (you can not have too much bling, right).

Well, that is all the projects for me this time.  Thanks so much for stopping by and having a look!  Before you head over to see what amazing project Justin Krieger has for you, I would love it if you could leave a comment, so I know you were here!

All of the product I used in my projects is shown below;  if you would like to order anything, simply click on the picture and you will be taken directly to my online store.

Thanks for stopping by – enjoy the rest of the Tour!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to stamp and create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project; whether a 3D item, or a card, or scrapbook page - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you stamp and create with me! :) If you're in Canada, you can Join My Team as a SU! demonstrator. If you're in the Great Vancouver area, you're welcome to join my classes - we always have fun!
