Have you taken advantage yet of the amazing Bundle of the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits?  As soon as I saw this bundle last November at the demonstrator On Stage convention, I knew I had to have it – I just love dragonflies.

Dragonfly Dreams Bundle

Better yet – if you purchase the Bundle, you automatically qualify for 1 FREE SALE-A-BRATION product!  I chose the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper as my free item, because I also purchased the new Watercolour Pencils, and wanted to have fun using them!

In this card below, I cut a piece of the Inside the Lines DSP, did some colouring, and added the cute little bumble bee die cut from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits:

Inside the Lines meets Dragonfly Dreams

The cardstock base is actually Melon Mambo, although the flash makes it look more light Calypso Coral. 🙁

To colour the flowers, I used the Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry Watercolour Pencils, and used the Blender Pen for blending.  The inside of the flowers and the bee (on the DSP) were coloured with the Daffodil Delight pencil, and the leaves using the Old Olive pencil.

I used the Big Shot and the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits die to die cut the bumble bee from Basic Black cardstock; I then traced around the bee shape on Daffodil Yellow cardstock, and cut it by hand, to layer underneath the die cut bee.  I attached the bee using Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added some Clear Wink of Stella on the wings.  You can just see the shimmer on one of the wings!

The coloured DSP was layered over a panel of Basic Black cardstock, then attached it to the cardstock base of Melon Mambo.  The sentiment, from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set, is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

This card could be used for a lot of different occasions, or you could switch the sentiment for a specific occasion.  If you’d like to purchase this Bundle, just click on the images below, and you’ll be taken directly to my online store.  For more ideas on using the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle, you can check out my POST HERE, where it was my featured Bundle of the Month.

Until next time – happy stamping!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to stamp and create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a 3D item, or a card, or scrapbook page - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you stamp and create with me! :)
