Fun Birthday Delivery

A fun Birthday Delivery card is just what you need for a celebration! And the Birthday Delivery stamp set is the perfect one to use to create this cute card.

Before I share the card with you, it’s worth pointing out that  you can purchase the amazing Birthday Delivery Bundle, and get the Birthday Delivery stamp set, Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper, PLUS the Birthday Friends FramelitsAll at a 10% saving!! Not only do all 3 coordinate with each other, but the framelits also match some of the images in the DSP, to make it even easier for you to create.

Fun Birthday Delivery

I love the large happy birthday sentiment in fancy script, just like you’d see on a birthday cake! Even better – it looks like the pastry chef just finished writing it, with his icing tool 🙂

I decided to use this fun large confetti pattern from the Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper stack, and pulled the colours from it.

On a Whisper White cardstock panel, the sentiment from the Birthday Delivery set is stamped in Peekaboo Peach ink. Next, the DSP panel is added to the bottom of the white panel, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a separate piece of Whisper White, stamp the chef in Memento Black ink. Use the Pool Party Light Blends Marker to add some colouring to the chef. Next, with the Big Shot and the Birthday Friends Framelits, die cut the chef, and add him to the front panel, with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Attach the front panel to a Peekaboo Peach cardstock base, with more Dimensionals. To finish off the front, add some of the Tutti-Frutti Adhesive-Back Sequins to the front.

With just the extra layer of DSP and the die cut chef, this card front ‘pops’!

Of course, you have to stamp & decorate the inside of the card!

To make the inside sentiment more visible, and to make it easier when adding your own message, I always add a panel of Whisper White cardstock to the inside.

The sentiment is again from the Birthday Delivery stamp set,  stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink. To add a little extra fun, I glued a strip of the same large confetti paper to the bottom of the panel.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to stamp and create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a 3D item, or a card, or scrapbook page - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you stamp and create with me! :)

    1. Thanks, Buffy! The way the chef is ‘posing’, I think it looks like he’s showing off his handiwork 🙂
