Now, before you jump to conclusions – W.I.N.O.S is an acronym for Women In Need Of Stamping! 🙂  Okay, we do enjoy a glass of wine about halfway through the evening, but we're all responsible, and we have snacks with our wine.

We were a few members short this time (we missed you Amanda and Karen!) but I did prepare their kits for them to put together at home.  Just so you know that we really did do some creating – and great cards, at that! – here's some pictures for you.

We warmed up with this card

This is a lovely card that can be used for any type of occasion, simply by changing out the sentiment.  I admit that I did dip into my stash of retired 'Mocha Morning Specialty Paper' for the DSP panel on this card, but it just coorindated so well with the Crumb Cake and Gold Baker's Twine.

I am putting a full tutorial for these cards on my Tutorial page, complete with supplies used and measurements for each piece, so you can go there afterwards for the details.

This next card is deceptive; very calm and innocent on the front

…and then when you open it up…

A cute little surprise to make your sick friend feel cheery! 🙂  And yes – that's part of a real tissue in there, too!  (much too small for practical use, of course).

One more card before we broke for sustenance…

I just love the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper, and the 'See Ya Later' stamp set – both FREE during Sale-a-bration!  (hint – you've got just over 1 month earn your free products!!)  Using the Postage Stamp punch, we're able to showcase all of the patterns, and the Basic Black Cardstock panel just makes the colours all 'pop'!

Next time I'll have to take pictures of our snacks; each class I try to have something different; this week was a variety of crackers with spreads like Asiago & Spinach; Red Pepper spread; and a few more, along with some sweet mini Cinnamon rolls, and some banana bread.  With, of course, wine, as well as tea & coffee.

Then, it was back to creating!  Feeling renewed and refreshed, we tackled another new 'fun fold', called a "Joy Fold".  This is how it looks from a front view.  You can see lots of layers, and coordinating cardstock and designer series papers.

Now you can see that the little cupcake on the front left corner was holding down the front flap, with the main sentiment.

Once the front flap is open, you open the second flap, and your inside sentiment is revealed!

I think that this 'Another Great Year' stamp set from the Occasions catalogue goes perfectly with the Birthday Basic designer series paper, don't you?

Our final card of the night also packs a visual punch, but is actually quite easy to make (ssshhh…don't tell!!)  It's very pretty, too!

I'm so glad that these new In Colours are going to be around for at least 1 more year, because I have to say, Crisp Cantaloupe has to be one of my favourites!!

So, wonderful cards were made, we had lots of laughs and great companionship.  I think that's the best part, you know – the getting together, and being with like-minded people all doing something you love to do.  Creating.  That's what I love about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator 🙂

Of course, all the ladies received a 'check' on their Frequent Stamper Card – with attending 5 classes, you get your 6th class FREE!  All of my clients receive my Frequent Stamper Card to earn FREE classes, as well as FREE product.  Because I really, really do appreciate my clients! 🙂

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my creations as much as we enjoyed making them.  Remember to check out my TUTORIAL page – click on the word "Tutorials" in the menu bar across the top – and you can follow along how to make these same cards, step-by-step.  Of course you can substitute your own stamps and papers if you don't have exactly what I used – and I would LOVE to see a picture of what you create!!  Just send me a picture by email ( and I'll share it here, on my blog!

Until next time – Happy Stamping!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)
