Hello Stampin' Friends!
I'm so excited – I just got some new racks to hold all my Stampin' Up! card stock and designer series papers! I spent most of the afternoon sorting all my card stock into colour families, then grouping them, putting them in their new homes, and labelling each slot on the rack…it makes it so easy to see what I have, and what papers I need to order.
Tomorrow I have to finish labelling the designer series papers. It's great that now, SU! is putting the coordinating colours on the packages, but I don't always keep the paper in the packaging – sometimes it just rips, and falls apart! So, I want to add labels that won't get lost!
After that, I'll be putting all my clear-mount stamp cases into a tall DVD rack that I bought. Do you believe that I had to order it on line?! Stores just don't carry them in stock any more! Anyway, it finally arrived, and so I need to figure out the best way to organize them. How do you store your stamp sets? Alphabetically? Or by type – eg. all birthday together, all seasons, etc? *sigh* I have a feeling I'll be doing this more than once – trial and error, you know!
I took a picture of what I called my 'corner of shame' – where I had everything in boxes in the corner! – as a 'before' picture; when I'm finished, I'll post that and an 'after' picture! Of course, I still have my wood mount stamps that will have to stay in my clear drawer containers, plus the punches and ribbons…..so much to organize, and so little space!
Well, enough of that! I can't wait to finish, so that I can get back to stamping!
I'm thinking of my upcoming Spring/Easter class…tell me, what type of cards do you prefer to give or receive at Easter time? Do you like the bunnies, eggs, spring flowers and colours, or do you prefer the more traditional 'religious' themed cards?
Here's a couple of cards that I did for last year's Spring/Easter class – I'd love to hear what you think of the, and what type of cards you think should be included in this class. I really do appreciate your feedback!
This is the front of this card –
And this is the inside. I must admit – this is one of my favourites!
Don't forget to leave your comments for me! Thanks for stopping in – I'll talk to you again tomorrow!
