Happy Stamp-iversary, Lynn!

One of my amazing team members, Lynn K., is celebrating her 2 year Anniversary as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! I’m so lucky to have her as part of my team. Lynn took off running with her Stampin’ Up! business, achieving both levels of the Quick Start bonus in her 3rd and 4th months! This awarded her a total of 15,000 Flex Points, which can be redeemed for Stampin’ Up! products, catalogues, or Stampin’ Up! branded items like mugs, pens, and more.

Lynn is also a very positive influence in the team (well, everyone in the team is positive – I told you I was lucky!). She also has 2 members of her own team, and I’m sure they’re enjoying her sharing her wealth of knowledge.

Now that I know Lynn has received her card from me, I can share it with you!

I thought it was appropriate to create Lynn’s anniversary card with the Share What You Love suite of products. This suite was created to share Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Anniversary (which is this year) with everyone.

Happy Stamp-iversary, Lynn!

I truly am lucky to have a friend like you, Lynn! And to think it all started when you called me to ask about a single stamp set! 🙂

I drew my colour palette from the colours in the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.

First, create your card base of Rich Razzleberry cardstock. Cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Mint Macaron cardstock, and stamp large flower trio image and small berry stem image from the Love What You Do stamp set in Mint Macaron ink. Angle the stamped images so they go towards the upper left and bottom right hand corners of the panel. Next, stamp the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Create the tag look by punching each corner with your 1/2″ Circle Punch.

Cut a panel of Share What You Love Specialty DSP, and another small strip of a different pattern. Cut a length of Rich Razzleberry 14″ Velvet Ribbon to the same length as the DSP strip. Next, cut a panel of Vellum cardstock. You’ll also need one of the Pearlized Doilies.

First, layer the Vellum panel on an angel, in the middle of the stamped Mint Macaron panel. Now layer the DSP panel on top of it, with dimensionals, centred and square. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the Pearlized Doily in the middle, then add the strip of DSP and ribbon on top, horizontally. Now you’re ready to attach the sentiment, with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish off the front, add a Faceted Dot in Mint Macaron in the upper left & bottom right corners of the Vellum panel.

Happy Stamp-iversary, Lynn!

All of the items in this suite work together perfectly! If you want to change the look, just pull a different colour combination from the designer paper.

As always, add a panel of Whisper White cardstock to the inside of your card, for stamping and writing. I knew I would be writing a personal message to Lynn, so I simply repeated the flower trio stamp from the front, this time in Rich Razzleberry ink.

Happy Stamp-iversary, Lynn!

This was a special card, so I went all out on the extra layers! You can see them all in the photos above and below.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to stamp and create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a 3D item, or a card, or scrapbook page - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you stamp and create with me! :)
