Hello, Stamping Friends!

Well, here I am – posting 3 days in a row!  Woohoo!  LOL 🙂  I'm making fun of myself, of course; but I really am trying to be more consistent.  As Christmas gets closer, I can't guarantee daily posts, but I will try to do some up ahead of time, and have them scheduled to post on those days.

As we all get busier, and we attend more social gatherings and see more people, we often like to have 'a little something' that we can give.  You know, nothing big, but a token to say that you're happy you got together, and were thinking of them.

Of course, we're all busy, so quick & easy is really nice!

These tins are very easy to use; I filled mine with wrapped chocolates (of course!), but you could put anything you want in them, as long as it fits!  Being a nice shiny silver, with the 'viewer' window makes them very versatile, and you need very little to dress them up (plus, the recipient gets to use the tin for whatever they like, afterwards!)

I made the belly band with some DSP scraps I had; just measure around your tin, and add 1/2" to adhere the ends together, and make sure that the band can be slid off easily.

Decide what you want as a focal point – I stamped a Dasher & embossed in gold on one, and layered 2 of the Festive Flurry snow flakes on the other.  Adhere them over where the 2 ends of the belly band join.

Add a stamped tag or two, and you're done!  Your recipient won't know how quickly you pulled this together, 'cause it looks fabulous!

I hope your plans for the holidays are going smoothly.  Remember to take time to enjoy festivities, as well as your family & friends.

Until next time – Happy Stamping,

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to stamp and create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project; whether a 3D item, or a card, or scrapbook page - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you stamp and create with me! :) If you're in Canada, you can Join My Team as a SU! demonstrator. If you're in the Great Vancouver area, you're welcome to join my classes - we always have fun!

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
