MAY YOUR CHRISTMAS BE BRIGHT

This card came together quickly and easily! I used lots of heat embossing, as I wanted to give some extra shine to everything 🙂

CARD DETAILS

Start with a Real Red cardstock base. Add a banner shape in Pineapple Punch cardstock; use the Banner Triple Punch to create the tails on one end. Attach the banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the 3 bulbs. Ink up each one individually; first with Versamark ink, then immediately in the colour ink. Cover with Clear Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool.  The 3 colours I used are Real Red, Pineapple Punch and Call Me Clover Classic Ink Pads.
Next, stamp 3 of the bulb ends in Versamark ink. Cover with Silver Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool.  Use the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch to punch them out. Attach the bulb ends to the bulbs, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Whisper White, stamp the circle image in Versamark ink. Cover it with Silver Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. Next, stamp the sentiment in the middle of the circle. First, ink the sentiment in Versamark ink, the immediately in Real Red ink. Cover with Clear Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool.
Above the circle, stamp the string of lights in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Use the Stampin’ Write Markers in Real Red, Call Me Clover and Pineapple Punch to colour in the bulbs. Now you can attach the punched bulbs to the bottom of the circle, completing the sentiment!
Finally, attach your white front panel to the card base, on top of the Pineapple Punch cardstock banner.

INSIDE DETAILS

Making Christmas Bright
The only stamping I’ve done so far on the inside was to add the dangling line of stars – they’re so cute! They are also from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set.

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to stamp and create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project; whether a 3D item, or a card, or scrapbook page - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you stamp and create with me! :) If you're in Canada, you can Join My Team as a SU! demonstrator.
