Thinking of You Card Class

Hello stamper! This past Friday, I held a Thinking of You card class with some lovely ladies! This group know each other well, so the dynamic is always fun! Lots of friendly kidding going on, and our new motto is ‘what happens in stamp class, stays in stamp class!’.  So no telling tales outside of class as to who stamped upside down, or attached the inside panel to the wrong side…. *wink*!

To see pictures of the group at work, CLICK HERE to go to my business Facebook page – be sure to ‘Like’ my page, to be kept up to date online!

There were a few people who couldn’t attend, so have elected to order the card kit and written directions from me. Did you know that you can do that?! Yes! If you’re not able to attend the class, you can still pay for it, and I will send you the written instructions for completing each card, along with the supplies (minus adhesives) to put the cards together!

So because some people are paying for the detailed instructions, I’m just going to share the card pictures, and the names of the sets we used to complete them.  With the theme being ‘thinking of you’, we made a thank you card, a get well card, and 2 cards that could be used for sympathy, or just thinking of you.

Thinking of You Card Class

This card uses the classic Thoughts and Prayers stamp set to create the background, and the retired Wetlands stamp set for the sentiment. The colours are Dapper Denim and Tranquil Tide.

The layering of the cardstock, ribbon and Designer Series Paper make it an elegant card.

This card has a nice tranquil scene, created using the Waterfront stamp set. The sentiments are from the Sorry for Everything stamp set – with 10 different sentiment stamps, you can find a suitable saying for any thinking of you or sympathy card!

Although I created this card for a ‘get well’, it could also be used for Father’s Day, birthday, or just about any occasion! Just change up the sentiment, and it’s like a completely different card! The colours used for this card are Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Marina Mist, Dapper Denim and Early Espresso.

I’m still working on automating the process, but for now, if you’d like to order this card kit and instructions for only $20 plus mailing costs,(for all 4 cards – these 2, plus the next 2 shown in tomorrow’s post) please email me at  If you’d like just the instructions, I can do that, too! Again, email me with your information, and I’ll send you an e-transfer request for $8 for the instructions only.

To order the supplies used in these cards, click on the product images below. You’ll be taken to my online store, where you can order any time of day or night.

Be sure to visit tomorrow, as I’ll be sharing the other 2 cards from this class.  In the meantime – happy stamping!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)

    1. Thanks, Buffy! In class, everyone was commenting on how perfect the Waterfront set is, for us living here on the west coast 🙂 We’re never far from mountains or water!

I love to read what you have to say! Thanks for commenting ;)
