Wishing You Everything On Your List

This is my favourite sentiment from the Signs of Santa stamp set. Wishing you everything on your list is similar to what I write in birthday cards, which is ‘hoping all your birthday wishes come true’! And the cute little elves are just too much. There’s 2 great things about this stamp set; first, you can Bundle it with the Santa’s Signpost Framelits, and Save 10%! Second, the Framelits also die cut a lot of images that are in the Santa’s Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper. So if you don’t have time to sit & colour the stamped images, you can just die cut them from the DSP!

Like I said, these elves are just too much! They’re so cute – right down to the expressions on their faces.  For this card, I decided that Santa could have a rest, and let the elves do what they do best.

Look at those faces – so cute! For this card, I not only let the elves do the work, but I let the DSP do the work, too! The only stamping I did was for the sentiments, inside and out. Pardon the poor lighting quality; it’s been very grey, overcast and rainy here, and artificial light just isn’t the same for photos. Not with my photographic skills (or lack thereof)!

First, create a card base of Real Red cardstock. Next, cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Garden Green cardstock, and emboss it with the Big Shot and Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  Once embossed, attach it to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cut a strip from the Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP, with the walking elves, and attach it to the bottom of the embossed panel, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Now, hand cut around the larger elves on another of the DSP. Use your Paper Snips to roughly cut out around them. For the one elf at the end, the wagon and the pile of presents, use the Big Shot with the matching dies in the Santa’s Signpost Framelits to die cut them. The other 2 elves you will  have to cut out by hand (the hardship – I know!). Now, line up your elves, and attach them onto the front panel with more Dimensionals, stacking the presents in the wagon.

Stamp the Wishing you everything on your List sentiment from the Signs of Santa stamp set in Real Red ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Die cut it with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, then attach it above the elves, with Dimensionals.

Take a minute to look at how cute this card is, and how quickly it came together!

As always, add a panel of white cardstock to the inside of your card. Stamp the ‘and more’ sentiment in Real Red ink.

I thought I would expand on the ‘and more’, by add this big stack of presents, hand cut from the DSP! Yup, this whole suite of products is just too cute to get over!

I've always liked to create things, but I'm not a great artist, or sculptor, or any type of 'traditional' artist - but I love to create! I love the satisfaction of a completed project. Whether a card, painting or other project - as long as it can create a smile, evoke a feeling, or some type of reaction in the recipient. I hope you will enjoy sharing my creations, and occasional ramblings; I'd enjoy having you create with me! :)
